After you learn the most common strum, you will think that you heard it somewhere before, but can’t place it. It’s familiar to you because a lot of people use it.
It’s difficult to place because of its frequent use. I picked up on it as a kid and had no idea what I was doing. I just knew that I had heard it somewhere.
